Nydus support now in beta for Docker image builds | Changelog

We now have Nydus support available in private beta for your Docker image builds. Nydus is an accelerated container image format by the Dragonfly image-service project distribution technology that can pull image data on-demand without waiting for the entire pull before starting the container.

You can run your depot build command and specify Nydus as the output format via the --output flag:

depot build \
 --output "type=image,compression=nydus,oci-mediatypes=true,force-compression=true" \
    .
