To close our Drop Week #01, we announced a new authentication mechanism for open-source maintainers looking to get faster Docker image builds for public fork pull requests in GitHub Actions. The new mechanism allows maintainers to route Docker image builds for public fork pull requests to ephemeral Depot builders. Allowing those builds to get faster Docker image builds without compromising the main layer cache. Read more about our new OIDC issuer that makes it all work.
